A booklet entitled “Honesty and Openness – the Key to Building Healthy Relationships in the School Community” was published, which briefly and concisely presents information about the characteristics and differences of intersex people and how to create the most favorable conditions for their comfortable stay in a team, including a school team.
The author emphasizes the responsibility of teachers to educate the younger generation to be knowledgeable, sensitive, and humane because the world is interesting for its diversity in all its social and biological manifestations.
The diversity of human society, the right of all its representatives to live a complete life, without experiencing harassment and humiliation, is the theme of the first Ukrainian publication about intersex people.
This publication is addressed to all those interested in public life, who understand the heterogeneity of humanity and recognize the need to preserve and disseminate the principles of humanism in Ukraine and abroad.
The dissemination of knowledge about the diversity of the humanity is very essential and noble work. Continuing publishing activities aimed on spreading knowledge about intersex people, our organization has published a color brochure entitled “Intersex is …”
On its pages very specifically and popularly we are telling about who intersex people are and what they needs. In our brochure we state that intersex is not a disease, but a feature of the human body.
Also we claim that intersex is a biological condition of a human being.
